My girlfriend and I had the best few days at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar. The staff went above and beyond and were friendly and professional. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they left us a bottle of Prosecco and a cake which was a wonderful surprise. The room was immaculate, very spacious and a comfy bed. The location couldn’t be better, in the heart of stone town on the beach but at the more peaceful end of town. We loved sitting out on the veranda for breakfast watching the dhows sail by. The building is beautiful and feels elegant. One of the best stays we have had, thank you!

Simply the best hotel in Stone Town, perfectly located in the heart of the city with a fantastic sunset viewpoint. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, Park Hyatt Zanzibar seamlessly blends traditional Zanzibari charm with modern luxury. The design throughout the property is elegant, sophisticated, and truly stunning. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with excellent amenities and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff were professional, attentive, and exceptionally well-trained, consistently delivering warm and personalized hospitality that made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the staff member at the corner desk (I believe he was handling tour bookings), he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Before we headed out, he thoughtfully provided us with Zanzibar map and offered us bottled water for the journey. It was a simple gesture, but one that reflected the genuine warmth and hospitality of this place. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but he truly deserves recognition for his excellent service and positive attitude. The semi-buffet breakfast concept, complemented by an à la carte menu, offered a fantastic selection of dishes, all prepared to an excellent standard. The quality, presentation, and flavours were superb, making breakfast one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were also exceptionally warm, attentive, and helpful, further enhancing the overall dining experience. Our dining experience at Beach House Zanzibar was equally exceptional. The seafood was incredibly fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. Combined with the beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere, it made for a truly memorable meal. Overall, Park Hyatt Zanzibar exceeded our expectations in every way. From its magnificent heritage architecture and luxurious accommodations to its exceptional dining and impeccable service, every aspect of our stay was outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar and look forward to returning in the future.

The Park Hyatt Zanzibar is an absolutely beautiful space. The setting is stunning, with the pool area overlooking the ocean and a calm, elegant atmosphere that makes it feel really special. The design blends seamlessly with the historic surroundings of Stone Town, and every detail feels considered and refined. The pool area in particular stands out, it’s serene, well kept, and simply a pleasure to sit beside. Service was excellent throughout, attentive, warm, and professional without feeling intrusive. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy the surroundings. A truly lovely experience.

I love it here. A two night stay was eagerly extended to five because of how wonderful this property is. Impeccable and friendly staff like Ally, who has been there since the opening 11 years ago, ensured I felt right at home. The rooms are big and well appointed, with great air-conditioning and Wi-Fi and amenities. The pool deck is a jaw dropper. And the beachside location in Stone Town is ideal. Whenever I needed to reach somebody from the phone in the room, there was always a friendly voice on the line within seconds. I cannot stress enough: From the housekeeping team and restaurant hosts, servers, and chefs to the security guards and front desk staff welcoming you, this is a top-notch property and well deserving of the Park Hyatt name. And yes, you’ll find Le Labo products in the bathrooms. I always like snapping pictures of the gym for anyone like me who wants to have a look at hotels’ fitness centers. The one here I found decently equipped and always empty during my visit, with enough equipment (albeit not extensive) for me to stay busy. There are also a few treadmills, not pictured. Thank you Park Hyatt Zanzibar for giving me so many reasons to never leave!

Park Hyatt Zanzibar is an iconic landmark in Stone Town, where traditional Zanzibari architecture blends seamlessly with modern elegance to create something truly special. The rooms seem to float above the Indian Ocean, and from the moment I arrived I felt completely immersed in the luxury and tranquillity of the setting. The service and cuisine live up to the beauty of the surroundings — refined, attentive, and memorable. Without question, this ranks among my favourite hotels in the world.
