Staying at Hotel Amadeus in Seville felt like stepping into a piece of art. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk from the city center, major attractions, and nearby bus stops, making it incredibly convenient to explore everything Seville has to offer. What truly sets this hotel apart is its aesthetic charm. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, almost poetic, with beautiful details that make the space feel unique and memorable. The rooms are spacious, very well maintained, and equipped with an efficient AC system, ensuring a comfortable stay even after long days of sightseeing. One area that could use improvement is the food. Since the hotel doesn’t have its own kitchen and relies on external catering, the breakfast experience lacked consistency. Some days offered decent variety, but on others, especially for vegetarians, the options were quite limited. The rooftop swimming pool is a lovely addition, but the water was surprisingly cold during our April stay. It would be great if they could regulate the temperature a bit better so guests, including families with kids, can fully enjoy it. Overall, despite a couple of minor drawbacks, this was a fantastic stay. If you value location, ambiance, and comfort, Hotel Amadeus is a wonderful choice in Seville.

The hotel is very charming, well decorated and renovated. It is friendly and cosy, with many areas for relax and enjoy. The hotel has also an amazing roof top with a pool. The location is perfect and very central, in Santa Cruz neighbour , which is one of the most beautiful of Seville. We will definitely come back next year for La Feria. The staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. All the rooms and very comfortable and well decorated.

Such a cool, unique hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights in one of their terrace rooms. It was such a cool, historic, neat hotel. The room was really nice - the A/C was very cold which was much appreciated. The roof top hot tub was amazing - we had it to ourselves two nights in a row. The hotel breakfast was great. Walking distance to everywhere you need to go in Seville. Would absolutely stay here again.

A lovely family-run hotel in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood of Seville. Walking distance to all the main sites. We stayed for 3 nights and found the space clean and peaceful, with musical touches thoughtfully placed everywhere. We mentioned we were staying for an anniversary and they provided a free bottle of local cava as a surprise which was a lovely way to celebrate our time there. Rooms were clean and cool, and very well stocked. We found the staff were lovely and accommodating. The main bonus of this hotel is that it is situated down a small alleyway so is away from bustle of the streets and resulted in a much quieter stay. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want a quiet and peaceful place to stay whilst visiting Seville.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Amadeus for 3 nights at the end of a longer trip through Spain, and unfortunately it was a disappointing way to wrap up an otherwise great vacation. The location was great, but beyond that, the experience did not really justify the price. At more than $300 USD a night, we expected a higher level of service and quality. The staff during check-in seemed disorganized and forgetful, and we were given very little information about the hotel or its amenities, which made the experience feel pretty impersonal from the start. The room itself was nice/spacious enough, but there was a couple of frustrating issues: The WiFi was bad, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it. Something that also surprised us was that most people staying at the hotel were older and part of larger group tours (Rick Steves/EF/etc.) There’s nothing wrong with that, but it definitely created a different atmosphere than we were expecting, and it’s something I wish we had known before booking. Overall, this hotel felt very expensive for what it offered, especially compared to the other places we stayed throughout Spain.
