A great experience. The room was very comfortable, and well appointed. The service was excellent at every step. They are a little far from the 'downtown hub' but they make up for it with free shuttle service every hour. We were there as part of an anniversary holiday, and they left us a little gift in our room and a card celebrating the event, which was a nice touch. The views across the lake to the hills and mountains were really stunning, and a great way for us to cap off our stay in New Zealand.

The apartment that we booked there was fabulous and super spacious. It even had a balcony which overlooked the lake. There is a pillow menu, I would recommend the lavender pillow and the lambswool pillow. The staff are all super kind and helpful; they even have an hourly shuttle service into town. We visited there on Christmas Day, and they gave us a sock full of many different treats; I think that is so generous of them to do that. There is also a path that leads you to the lakeshore. Thank you for an amazing stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to you!

Loved our stay here! Stunning views, luxe rooms with the comfiest bed and attentive staff. Every small detail was well perfect. They offer a free shuttle service into Queenstown and back making it really easy to get around town without the hassle of finding parking. Highly recommend for a night or two of luxury and breathtaking views

Outstanding views, rooms and service. We had a two bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and living room. And the laundry and dryer machines in the apartment was a nice surprise! Def suggest staying at least three nights. Will definitely stay here next time we come back to Queenstown!

Had a great stay in a hotel room at The Rees. Rooms are well appointed with outstanding views of the lake. We had a fantastic dinner with excellent service. Our breakfast was not to the same standard of service and was overall chaotic with poor communication between the servers and the chef. The complementary shuttle bus is a great idea and was gratefully used. We tried to order room service but was told it would be a 90 minute wait for 2 pizzas so gave up. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but a couple of minor staff/service issues prevent this review from being 5/5.
